Lunch at the little "restaurant" behind Ben's work. The proprietor was a good friend to Ben and one of the main reasons he learned as much chinese as he did. She was fun to watch work and talk to. Her English was quite good especially considering her age and occupation. Most of the youth are taught English in public school now; but not when she was growing up.
